Property along Clifton Road is the proposed site for senior housing.

A new public housing development for low-income seniors called the Cottages on Clifton Road is slated for a quiet neighborhood just south of Western Avenue between New Gray Cemetery and Interstate 640.
Project would provide 53 housing units for low-income seniors.
Tonight, City Council will consider transferring ownership of parcels along Clifton Road to Knoxville’s Housing Development Corp., a subsidiary of Knoxville’s Community Development Corp., which is the city’s housing agency.
