Ever since the U.S. Supreme Court struck down federal prohibitions on sports betting in a decision last May, pro-gambling forces across the country have been gearing up to push for legislation to legalize it at both state and federal levels.
A revenue source for local governments? A threat to college sports? Maybe both.
