A lawsuit seeking to compel the state to spend more money on public education is moving forward, without the participation of Knox County.
Seeking more revenue, via Legislature or litigation.
The three-year-old suit was brought by Metro Nashville and Shelby County, Tennessee’s two largest school systems.
