A server at Copper Cellar in West Knoxville has sued her boss -- and Knoxville mayoral candidate -- Mike Chase, his company and the company’s human resources director for sexual harassment.
Couple seeks $14 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Knox County Circuit Court, alleges Chase made repeated inappropriate comments to server Ana Tipton-Budzynski while drinking wine with friends, and that Human Resources Director Rick Eldridge covered up the incident after she filed a formal complaint.
