The University of Tennessee has been a remarkably unstable place for the last two decades.
The firing of Chancellor Beverly Davenport earlier this year continues to reverberate around the campus.
Since 2000, UT has had four presidents and three interim presidents, three Knoxville chancellors, five football coaches and five athletic directors. Now it has a brand-new Board of Trustees, who with President Joe DiPietro’s pending departure will soon need to hire a new president, followed by a new Knoxville Chancellor.
